H.I.V. is transmitted by many ways but the ways they are transmitted by blood transfusion, child birth, breast feeding, needle sharing/ injection drug use, percutaneous needle stick, Unprotected sexual intercourse (oral, vaginal, or anal sex)
Some ways you could prevent getting h.i.v. is by not having sex, using condoms, not breast feeding (if have it), needles, and contact with blood.
